(Note: Section 4.1 has been removed as requested.)

5. League Scoring — The FORE Factor

5.1 Main System

Your FORE Ranking Score =
Average of your best 3 Stableford rounds of the season.

Example:
Scores: 29 / 36 / 41 / 33
Best 3 = 36 + 41 + 33 = 110
Average = 36.7

5.2 Handicap Adjustment Rule (NEW)

To maintain fairness at extreme handicap ranges:

Players with handicap 35–54 receive a –10% deduction applied ONLY to their final Order of Merit average.
    •    This deduction is not applied to event scoring.
    •    It affects ranking only, not Stableford points at events.

Example:
Player average = 38.0
HCP = 42 → adjustment applies
38.0 × 0.90 = 34.2 final ranking score

5.3 Additional Fairness Notes
    •    Handicap updates are applied before each event.
    •    Extremely abnormal rounds may trigger handicap validation.
    •    New players with limited scoring history may receive provisional category review.

6. Leaderboard & Tie-breakers

Leaderboard updates after each event.

Tie-break order:
    1.    Highest single event score
    2.    Second-best event score
    3.    Head-to-head result at most recent event
    4.    Rock–Paper–Scissors (fun rule)

7. Season Awards
    •    Season Champion
    •    Rookie of the Year
    •    Most Improved Player
    •    Consistency Award
    •    FORE Social Leader
